Ytong exterior render is based on lime and cement, and is specifically designed for machine or hand plastering of all surfaces built with Ytong blocks. The so-called “self-reinforcing” quality gives it a significant advantage over exterior renders, as there is no need to use reinforcing mesh. This saves both time and money in the construction of the Ytong exterior wall.
This final lime-cement-based exterior mortar is intended for processing exterior walls with a thickness of 5 to 20 mm in a single layer. Before applying Ytong Exterior Mortar, it is mandatory to use Ytong acrylic primer mixed 1:6 with water (one part primer, six parts water) for surface impregnation.
